Our Vision Statement is -For all to discover and develop their God-give talents, and flourish in the fullness of life Jesus came to give. (John 10v10).
On behalf of the children, staff and Governors, I welcome you to Idle C of E (A) Primary School in Idle, Bradford. We are a vibrant, inclusive and family orientated school with a strong Christian ethos. I am proud to be the Interim Head of this caring community of learners with a fantastic staff team, dedicated Governors and supportive parents.
Our school is a happy and safe place where pupils are encouraged and supported to achieve their goals. Our school vision is at the heart of everything we do and we identify that our pupils have individual gifts and talents which we are dedicated to nurture and develop. We do this by providing a wide and rich curriculum enhanced with many extra curriculum clubs. Additionally, we incorporate in our school year a selection of visits / visitors for every class, including annual residential experiences in every KS2 class. This reflects our commitment to pupils developing confidence, independence and self-esteem and our passion for making learning enjoyable and exciting.
We recognise that the education of your child needs to be a joint responsibility between home and school, based on mutual trust and understanding. Your confidence in our school comes from knowing and understanding what is happening within it. To that end, we aim to keep you fully informed about all aspects of school life and I hope that you will use our ‘open door’ approach to share your concerns, compliments or queries which are so very much appreciated. Our pastoral staff are readily available, friendly and helpful for both children and parents alike.
If you have any queries please call / email the office and leave your details. I will be happy to call you to discuss any questions you may have.
