Compulsory Homework

Reading - please listen to your child read at least 3 times a week and record the pages they have read to you in their reading record. This should be put in our reading record box to be checked. Your child will earn one tick per day they have read to an adult at home. Every 30 ticks earns a reward!

Spellings - your child will be tested on their spelling honeycomb each Monday and, if they acheived 10/10, will bring home a new honeycomb on Tuesday. Please encourage your child to practise their spellings throughout the week.

TTRockstars - please ensure your child accessed TT Rockstars weekly. Times tables are incredibly important and give your child the foundation of knowledge to help with the rest of their maths learning. By the end of year 3, your child should be confident in their 2, 5, 10, 3, 4 and 8x tables.

PE

Our PE days are Monday and Thursday. On these days, your child should come to school in their PE kit. Please either cover your child's earrings with tape/plasters before coming to school or help your child to practise putting these on for themself.
