"Jesus came to give fullness of life" John 10:10

RE

RE has a central place within our curriculum and we aim to develop a religious and theological literacy so that pupils are able to engage with some of the big questions of meaning and purpose in life and develop an understanding of what followers of a religion believe and how those beliefs shape the lives of individuals, communities and wider society.

In school we follow the scheme Understanding Christianity http://www.understandingchristianity.org.uk. This supports the teaching of Christianity, rooted in the person and work of Jesus Christ.

In addition to setting activities on your class DOJO, you can use this page to find links to extra activities to enhance your learning further and discover more about the core concepts that we are learning about in RE.

BBC Bite-size has lots of clips on various global religions, which are set in real life contexts to help bring your learning to life. It has interactive quizzes and fun activities.

We would love to see any RE related work, photographs, artwork, drama or music that you have produced, so please do post them on your Class Dojo.
