We have been working hard on TT Rockstars! Can you beat Mr Parker's time of 1.96 seconds per question?

We have been enjoying reading The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe and looking at the dialogue between Mr Tumnus and Lucy. We have become experts at not saying 'said'! 

Our Roman Day

We have been learning all about the Romans in our history topic this half term. We were very excited to have a Roman Centurian visit us one day! He was dressed in full Roman armour and told us all about how Roman soldiers invaded and guarded. Some of us even got to dress up in some of the armour - it was very heavy! A favourite part of the day for a lot of us was creating a shield wall as we all held shields up into place for protection in groups. After a very interesting morning of learning lots of new information, we then made some Roman oil lamps out of clay. We later learned how to play a Roman game like tic tac toe, and made our own version. All of 4P found the day fun and exciting!
