This Term in 6R in Maths we have been learning Fractions

We have been working on the four operations:

• Multiplying fracitons
• Dividing fractions
• Adding fractions
• Subtracting fractions

as well as working on finding the whole with Unit and Non Unit fractions.

This Term in 6R in English we have been writing about Charles Darwin and his Theory of evolution. 

This includes: 

• An information text on an animal Darwin studied.
• A Diary of a day in the life of Darwin.
• An explination text about the HMS Beagle.
• A narative based on Darwin's Dragon.

And we are currently working on pieces of writing based on the adapatations seen in the peppered moths.
