  • Exploring part-whole models
  • Deepening understanding of number bonds to 10

"We now know our number bonds up to 10" AK

"We practice our number bonds up to 6." EB

English

In Autumn Term we work through focus texts within our learning in English.

These focus texts are:

  • This is Me by George Webster
  • Katie in London by James Mayhew
  • Katie in Scotland by James Mayhew
  • The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsberg

Through this work we explore new vocabulary and how to use it appropriately, sentence structures and important grammatical components of a sentence including capital letters and full stops and word classes including verbs, nouns and adjectives.

"We read Katie in London" AM

"We read Katie in Scotland" GF

"We've learn to put full stops on sentences." JR
