Welcome to Idle CE Primary School!

Thank you for visiting our website and for showing an interest in our school. We are delighted that you are considering us for your child’s education.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming our next cohort of children in September 2026 and beginning this exciting journey with you and your family.

We have been pleased to welcome many families on school tours, but understand that not everyone is able to attend in person. Our school website, class pages and Facebook page offer a great insight into daily life at our school.  Please do follow us if you haven't already!

Additional tours are available on request for families who would like to visit the school. Please note that some classes and year groups also have places available, including opportunities for siblings and older children wishing to join the school.

Applications for school places should be made online via Bradford Council. If you apply online, you will receive an email on 16 April 2026 confirming which school your child has been offered (unless you opted out of this service). Emails will be sent from 8:00am on this date.

Once your child’s place has been confirmed, our reception team will be in touch with further information. This will include arranging a visit to your child in their nursery setting as well as inviting them into school to begin what we hope is a smooth and positive transition into primary school.
